The Journey Begins
Possible Always was founded on September 26, 2025, as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a simple but powerful purpose: to support Floridians in crisis and the people who show up for them.
At its heart, Possible Always exists to serve as a bridge within Florida’s crisis care and 988 ecosystem. Our work is focused on strengthening connection, continuity, and care so that every crisis contact becomes more than a moment of intervention. We believe every contact can become a moment of human connection, and every moment of connection can open the door to recovery, belonging, and ongoing support.
Our work is grounded in partnership. We believe Florida’s 988 network is strongest when organizations collaborate, learn from one another, and build capacity together. Possible Always was created to support that shared effort by helping expand access, strengthen crisis response, and promote sustainable models of care that meet people where they are.
Our mission is to build circles of belonging where those who’ve been there walk alongside those who are there now. This mission reflects our belief that lived experience is not only something to recover from, but something that can become a source of connection, wisdom, and hope. When people remain connected to the meaning of their own lived experience, they can become more resilient helpers, stronger advocates, and powerful companions for others navigating crisis and recovery.
For co-founders Hannah Hackworth, LCSW, MBA, and Jason Kimmins, Possible Always represents both a leap of faith and a deep commitment to the future of crisis care. Together, Hannah and Jason bring more than 30 years of combined experience transforming healthcare, crisis services, quality improvement, operations, and community-based support systems. Their shared vision is rooted in the belief that innovation and compassion do not have to exist separately. When paired with lived experience, strong partnerships, and a commitment to human connection, they can help create new pathways to support people before, during, and after a crisis.
Possible Always is still at the beginning of its journey, but its purpose is clear: to imagine and build what becomes possible when hope, innovation, and lived experience come together in service of people who are struggling.
