Jermaine J. Williams is a Certified Recovery Peer Specialist and award-winning filmmaker with over ten years of sobriety and more than three years of experience in peer support, crisis intervention, and mental health advocacy.
His journey from addiction to recovery inspired his dedication to helping others navigate their own paths toward wellness. Jermaine has worked with organizations such as CDAC Behavioral Healthcare, Rebel Recovery, and the Northeast Florida Healthy Start Coalition, where he developed and facilitated recovery programs, support groups, and educational workshops.
He is also a nationally recognized mental health advocate and public speaker, using storytelling through film and media to raise awareness around addiction, suicide prevention, and recovery in underserved communities.
